Castles,trails, sunset... what else?
Overview
We start our tour by walking to the 13th century Byzantine castle,Angelocastro(the Angel castle) admiring the magnificent view of the Ionian Sea while we stroll between the remains of,once upon a time,glorious fortification. We will continue our walk in trails amongst the olive grove that connects two of the nicest villages of the NW part of the island giving you the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of the landscape. Once we enter the "donkey's trail" the view is amazing but not as good as when we will enjoy the view of the sun diving in the calm Ionian Sea a few minutes later. Enjoying the sunset view in such a romantic scenery, a glass of wine will complete a great experience.
